In this foundational course, young learners discover that history is truly "His story." Students will explore how God created us for community and relationship, learning what it means to be good citizens, neighbors, and stewards of the earth. Through interactive stories and cultural explorations, children will celebrate the beautiful diversity of God's global family and learn how they can reflect Christ’s love in their own communities.
6th - 8th: American History
This class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:45 PM - 1:25 PM
This course guides middle schoolers through the rich and complex tapestry of the United States, examining our nation's past through the lens of God's sovereignty and grace. Students will explore key eras—from early colonization to modern developments—learning to look at historical events critically and biblically. By studying both America's triumphs and flaws, students develop a deeper understanding of justice, liberty, and our collective call to be salt and light in the world.
6th - 12th: World History
This class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:45 PM - 1:25 PM
Designed for high schoolers, this comprehensive course investigates the major civilizations, global movements, and turning points of human history, tracking God’s hand at work across the ages. Students will analyze the rise and fall of empires, the impact of ideas, and the unfolding of God's redemptive plan for mankind. This curriculum emphasizes critical thinking and biblical discernment, preparing students to engage the modern world with truth and compassion.
