Kindergarten–5th Grade: Elementary Language Arts
This class option is available every Tuesday and Thursday 2:20 PM- 3:00 PM
Because we serve a God who speaks and who gave us His Word in written form, literacy is a sacred gift. This course focuses on nurturing a love for reading, writing, and communication. Young learners will develop phonics, vocabulary, and grammar skills, learning to use their voices and words to glorify God, express their thoughts clearly, and encourage those around them.
6th–8th Grade: Middle School Language Arts
This class option is available every Tuesday and Thursday 2:20 PM- 3:00 PM
This course elevates literacy skills by diving into deeper literary analysis and structured writing, teaching students to discern truth through a biblical worldview. Middle schoolers will explore various genres of literature while expanding their vocabulary and mastering complex grammar. Students will practice writing persuasive essays and narratives, learning how to articulate truth with conviction, grace, and clarity.
9th–12th Grade: High School Language Arts & Composition
This class option is available every Tuesday and Thursday 2:20 PM- 3:00 PM
Designed to polish critical thinking and communication, this high school course focuses on advanced literary analysis, rhetoric, and composition. Students will critique classic and contemporary literature, evaluating the underlying worldviews of different authors against the ultimate truth of Scripture. The curriculum places a heavy emphasis on crafting sophisticated, impactful essays, preparing students to be eloquent defenders of the faith and effective communicators in college and beyond.
